Data, policy, and perspective for the social sector.
India's CSR sector doesn't have a data problem. It has an intelligence problem.
The government publishes project-level CSR data on more than 18,000 companies. NGO Darpan lists over 5 lakh organisations. The MCA, SEBI and the MHA put out filings, thresholds and disclosures every month. The raw material is abundant.
And yet the sector's biggest decisions — which NGO to fund, which intervention to back, which partner to trust — still come down to a WhatsApp forward, a personal contact, or a referral. The data exists, but it's scattered, stale and hard to trust. The signal is buried in noise.
Bhoomi exists to fix that.
What we do
We bring together the news, policy, funding data and analysis that CSR teams and non-profits actually need — in one place, checked, and put in context. No spin, no recycled press notes. Just reliable intelligence you can act on.
That means tracking CSR spend and where it goes, following regulatory changes as they happen, surfacing open funding calls before they close, and offering perspective that connects the dots most coverage misses.
Who we are
We've spent 15+ years working inside India's development and CSR ecosystem. We've sat on both sides — funder and implementer — and felt the frustration of making high-stakes decisions on thin information. Bhoomi is the resource we wished existed.
We keep our names off the masthead on purpose. This isn't about us. It's about giving the sector clearer information, sharper thinking and a point of view it can rely on — so that money meant to do good actually does.
In time we expect to do more than publish — but that starts with earning your trust on the basics.
