Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) spending by NSE-listed companies increased by 23% in FY25, reaching ₹22,212 crore, up from ₹18,011 crore in the previous fiscal year. This surge is largely due to robust corporate profitability, with a 22% growth in the average net profits of these companies. Education and healthcare remained the top sectors for CSR allocation.
